The Long term approach

28 Mar

by: Steve Guttridge

Network Marketing is a long term business.

If you’ve tried your hand at it for 2 or 3 months and made no progress or money, then said to yourself , this is to hard!, so you gave up and walked away,  number one, your not thinking of the long term approach, number two, if your just looking for a fast dollar by promoting the latest buzz, there again your not focusing on the long term effect, as everything you do towards building your business on line, should be looked at in a long term perspective.

So everything I do in my network marketing business, I do with the long term approach.  My ventures are not only time proven,  but will only be bigger and better years down the road.

If your new to the Internet and marketing  on line, until you get familiar with the business, a good rule to follow would be to stick to ONE biz, as it would be hard to baby sit  4 little rug rats,  when you have haven’t cared for the ONE the first time.

I would choose ONE and think 4 or 5 years down the road, and  year after year your business will grow.

Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been in business for years, you should always stay up-to-date with your market information. There are thousands of web content mining sites available.

If i were to express one aspect the most in this business would be that once you have that first success, all that more success is, is doing more of it.

Expectations and Your Home Based Business

25 Mar
What you expect from yourself and your business can be the thing that shoots you to success or the thing that frustrates you into failure.

It is truly your expectations that make or break your business.

Many marketers, and specifically network marketers, set their expectations incorrectly, they base the foundation of what they are to consider success wholly on the wrong factors, and for it, create massive internal confusion.

It’s this expectation thing that has so many people jumping from one business to the next and then back again.

To set yourself on the higher plan to success in this industry you gotta put your neck on the line, you have to be the first to act, you have to be the first to make mistakes, you have to be the first to get up from those mistakes, dust yourself off and get back at it again.
If you don’t, THEY won’t.

You set the pace for your team members.
Don’t wait to be told to do something, if you see it, take control.
That’s what leaders do, and once you do this your team will know that they have someone that they can follow.

In your thought process don’t ever think about “What if this doesn’t work?” or “What if they think I’m dumb for even trying?”
What they think doesn’t matter, what matters is your result.

If you don’t stick your neck out for them no one else will, and when you do and come back from the battle field with your spoils and relate to them what you’ve done and what you’ve found out, there they will be more than willing to charge ahead after you.
But most won’t stick their necks on the line till you do.
Understand this, accept it, and use it to your and your team’s advantage.

After all . . .
You had to stick your neck out to find them in the first place, once you got them, it’s not time to sit back and wait to see what they do, keep doing what you do, and they will follow suit.
Do these things and you will set yourself free to succeed

Most of all, enjoy yourself and try to smile through out your day.
