The Long term approach

by: Steve Guttridge

Network Marketing is a long term business.

If you’ve tried your hand at it for 2 or 3 months and made no progress or money, then said to yourself , this is to hard!, so you gave up and walked away,  number one, your not thinking of the long term approach, number two, if your just looking for a fast dollar by promoting the latest buzz, there again your not focusing on the long term effect, as everything you do towards building your business on line, should be looked at in a long term perspective.

So everything I do in my network marketing business, I do with the long term approach.  My ventures are not only time proven,  but will only be bigger and better years down the road.

If your new to the Internet and marketing  on line, until you get familiar with the business, a good rule to follow would be to stick to ONE biz, as it would be hard to baby sit  4 little rug rats,  when you have haven’t cared for the ONE the first time.

I would choose ONE and think 4 or 5 years down the road, and  year after year your business will grow.

Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been in business for years, you should always stay up-to-date with your market information. There are thousands of web content mining sites available.

If i were to express one aspect the most in this business would be that once you have that first success, all that more success is, is doing more of it.

Expectations and Your Home Based Business

What you expect from yourself and your business can be the thing that shoots you to success or the thing that frustrates you into failure.

It is truly your expectations that make or break your business.

Many marketers, and specifically network marketers, set their expectations incorrectly, they base the foundation of what they are to consider success wholly on the wrong factors, and for it, create massive internal confusion.

It’s this expectation thing that has so many people jumping from one business to the next and then back again.

To set yourself on the higher plan to success in this industry you gotta put your neck on the line, you have to be the first to act, you have to be the first to make mistakes, you have to be the first to get up from those mistakes, dust yourself off and get back at it again.
If you don’t, THEY won’t.

You set the pace for your team members.
Don’t wait to be told to do something, if you see it, take control.
That’s what leaders do, and once you do this your team will know that they have someone that they can follow.

In your thought process don’t ever think about “What if this doesn’t work?” or “What if they think I’m dumb for even trying?”
What they think doesn’t matter, what matters is your result.

If you don’t stick your neck out for them no one else will, and when you do and come back from the battle field with your spoils and relate to them what you’ve done and what you’ve found out, there they will be more than willing to charge ahead after you.
But most won’t stick their necks on the line till you do.
Understand this, accept it, and use it to your and your team’s advantage.

After all . . .
You had to stick your neck out to find them in the first place, once you got them, it’s not time to sit back and wait to see what they do, keep doing what you do, and they will follow suit.
Do these things and you will set yourself free to succeed

Most of all, enjoy yourself and try to smile through out your day.

How to Build Your Downline Like the Experts

There are many different ingredients in preparing for your online money making opportunity, once you have this recipe complete, you then will have the tools to  build your downline. Keeping yourself full of passion and managing your time are major factors to keeping ones sanity in online marketing.

With trial and error you may find out that certain things don’t work for you, and  that’s where one of the main rules in online marketing comes in, and that’s if ya get knocked down, pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and get after it again.

Dismiss the routine, to have the the passion, and to stick with a business until it reaches success is the bottom line when it comes to making or breaking it with your business. Set your goals daily and take mental notes of what others are doing around the internet. See what catches your attention, then use those attributes to enhance your visibility. The goal is to stay in the game.

What sets you apart from the crowd is what you set out to make of yourself. Keep on researching what others are saying and doing, take your notes, take many many notes on that note. you can never have enough information in front of you on any one subject. It’s all just going to take time to build your downline , and there has to be a start point somewhere.

So day after day, put in that time, whether its 15 minutes writing an article like this one or 5 minutes sending out those e-mails to prospects, as long as you are putting in your time and effort, your business will grow, you will be branding yourself as that expert in your field, and within time you will prosper.

Just remember, like I once heard a wise man say, “time, it just takes time”. So with that said, keep the passion alive, positive thoughts can do great things, let the time take it’s course, and in that course of time, build your downline as large as possible, and it’s inevitable that you will be a success in the internet network marketing field, or whatever venture you take on in life.

Be positive!

Prerequisites and your Internet Network Marketing Business

Before setting out in your Internet network marketing business venture there are a number of things to take in consideration before joining that first home based money making opportunity. You need to know what to do, and how do do it, whatever business you join, whether its an affiliate program or your own personal business.

More than a simple marketing system is what’s needed.

A prov-en success system is a vital staple for your on line opportunity. There are many avenues for generating traffic. Once you find these avenues, then you must take your time and master each technique.

Targeted traffic generation is now what you are doing, and with generating all this traffic comes a vital part of the puzzle, A TRACKING SYSTEM! Without a tracking system in place to see what marketing campaign is working the best for you, a person is spinning their wheels and wasting their time.

Concentrating on lead generation, rather than follow up, is a smart path to follow. You figure those of us that are savyy enough to jump on a great opportunity when we see it are going to do it, and those not so in tune, won’t, it’s as simple as that.

So do not waste your time on multiple follow ups. time is better spent generating leads than following up with someone who is only half heartily exited about what you are setting forth in front of them.

Find your niche, prepare for success with a proven Internet network marketing system, learn your system inside and out and show others in your network your success strategies.

Be positive!
